No one dates anymore.

I was talking about this with a girl at work yesterday, no one dates. They “hang out”, get drinks, and hook up. They don’t go on dates. Dudes expect everything to go so fast. Girls do too. They don’t go on dates. 

Which is a shame because dating is fun. Sitting at dinner getting to know each other. Holding hands during a movie. The sexual tension. The build up. That is half the fun. The build up leading to sex is exciting. 

I miss that. Dating. Going on dates. Getting dressed up a bit. Picking her up at her house. Holding doors. Shared laughs and butterflies. I miss that shit. 

Let’s bring dating back. We need to stop rushing everything and expecting sex after 2 drinks. Dating is fun.
